I can't tell you how many of the ominous posts have been made in this thread with crickets afterwards. Sooner or later something will come of one of these, can we wait until it does to post about it?

This thread is amusing.

Ironic. Considering most of us spent upwards of 15 years on a band website awaiting new albums, of which we recieved one. 12 years ago. Why bother posting, reading threads, rumors, links etc

You won't see my posts in 99% of those threads.  I posted about the stuff I enjoyed/cared about.  Sure, early on I got into a bunch of Robin/Slash debates, but eventually figured out that someone else enjoying something different doesn't take away from my enjoyment of it. I still don't follow the updates...it's the same thing on repeat.  Sure, they're working on new stuff...I'll get excited when it's on an official list somewhere.  Until then I have a show to attend (my 6th on the NITL tour) in a couple months. I get plenty of enjoyment out of that whether there's a new album or not. The same setlist would be fine. I just enjoy the experience.

When Trump gets caught with something that matters (and I do believe at some point he will), I'll be glad to tear him apart. As much as I didn't agree with Obama's policies, I never (as far as I can remember) tore him apart. I certainly attacked his healthcare plan and the Dream Act or whatever it was called. I wasn't a birther. I certainly didn't take issue with having a black President nor would I have taken issue (or will I in the future) with a qualified and deserving female President. Frankly I like Obama more now that he's out of office, and that goes for most Presidents. Once they have some perspective and they are no longer really in bullshit politics anymore, the rhetoric softens and you get more diplomatic responses. He was flawed like every other President has been, but they almost all look better after they are out of office.  Trump may be the exception to that; we'll see.

We know Trump's game.  It's tired, but it's not going to change.  So you can cry about it for another year plus (or maybe 5 years plus if he lives that long) or you can understand he's just going to say what he thinks instead of thinking about what he says. I think he is probably a little smarter than you guys want to give him credit for, but I get it. I even get waiting for him to crash and burn, but this was what felt like the 100th time he was going down because of an investigation and the other 99 times he's still standing. There's no reason to think this will be different until it is. It takes a LOT to get a President out of office and the current setup it's going to take a miracle even thought many Republicans aren't Trump fans either.

Guess impeachment isn’t what even the majority of Democrats want

Maybe they can vote 60 plus times to repeal Obamacare and then not successfully when it really matters.

The chants were too far. Trump should condemn them. Telling them they’re free to leave and participate in the nations’ they self-identify with, is one thing.  Supporting forcibly removing a citizen for expressing speech protected by the first amendment is too far.

He should have had a McCain moment and correct the ignorance.

It Trump isn't stepping in shit when he has a good day, his followers are. I wouldn't care either way, but if the Democratic party is going to survive they need to purge the SJW socialists and they were doing a good job of it on their own before bubba decided to open his big dumb mouth cuz he needs attention.

This board is filled with them.

But tell me though...just who or what are we all supposed to be grateful to? Jeebus? The flag?
