Really, when did this happen? If you mean Rittenhouse that's not true, unless you have evidence he's a white supremacist?
It's strange that for six months you guys were quiet during the riots, assaults and murders, but suddenly you're outraged over a question over white supremacists. You seem to blame them for everything, but when it's violence on the left *crickets* Odd
Do you have to say outloud that you are a white supremacist to be one? if it walks like a duck, and talks like it duck...it must not be a duck.
The different ways the poor and minorities are treated by police was never more present than Kenosha. If people would rather deploy military in their streets than looks at what actually happened...if you'd rather explain away the many deaths of the poor and minorities in police custody....as has been done here repetedily...
Well, it shouldn't be hard to prove he's a white supremacist. Show me.
He's Hispanic, btw, though I guess you could still be a white supremacist. It would be helpful if you just showed it.
We've had this debate before, but you never put forth any facts, just talking points.
Re: Current Events Thread
Honest question: Does everyone pretty much agree the race is over? I mean, this could get even worse if more people get it, Kushner, Mnuchin, Ivanka or other Senators or cabinet. Amy Comey Barret is said to have met with many without masks, which if she tests positive it'll bring up a question of judgement and decisionmaking. If 5-10, 20 DC pols test positive its worse, but in my mind this itself is an embarrassment, worst case scenario, and unsalvageable. I'm seeing some diehards post on FB, and I can't fathom thinking he has a chance.
Feedback?

If it's over already, Trump wins by a field goal.
Getting sick was the best thing that could've happened to him right now. Any traction for Biden and the obsession with white supremacy (oddly run by a black guy) now gets erased as everyone focuses on Trump covid watch for the next two weeks.
Five minutes left in the game and the media is going to kill two minutes off the clock on this issue alone.
He also has a perfect excuse to not do the debates now....that'll kill a day or two off the clock.
Ignore the polls. This was always going to be a close election. It will boil down to a handful of states. He's the incumbent which gives him the advantage. It's why I consider him up by a field goal.
What do you do when you're up by a field goal with a few minutes left in the game?
Run out the clock.
The world's obsession with Trump has always played to his advantage....and I think he's counting on it to slide into reelection.

Why do you think he’s up by a field goal?
This sounds like Hillary 2016 talk.

Because the opposition is Joe fucking Biden lol.
Seriously though I said it earlier, I think this will benefit Trump.

He's the incumbent. It's an automatic advantage... always has been, especially in the modern era. Look how many one term presidents we've had in the past 50 years.
He also is going up against the weakest opponent since Dukakis. He's also going up against the oldest person to ever run for president. He has a VP that isn't popular.
Nothing about his opposition inspires confidence. It's literally just an "I'm not Trump" candidacy.
I don't think it's enough to beat him.
IMO the only thing that could save Biden is a huge October surprise. When you need a hail mary to win, you're not winning.
I don't even think an October surprise would do it. It would just blend in with all the outrage. It's all white noise at this point.

I do not believe trump has Co-vid
I'm shocked he hasn't caught it earlier honestly. Although the timing is impeccable.
