To me it sounds in the same vein as a lot of his stuff on Crime Slunk Scene, my favorite Buckethead album. Check that one out. Just let it play in its entirety in the background and you'll be caught up in it in no time. Another great album with a pretty cohesive sound of its own is the underrated (in my opinion) Population Override. It's maybe a bit more avant garde but ... actually it sounds nothing like this song or Crime Slunk Scene, I just wanted to recommend both albums for you.

This is semi-related: big BH fans like Bri or James, how much do his shows usually cost? He's playing in my town in late July with tickets on sale tomorrow, but I can't find a listing of the price.

If it's reasonable I'm going to go check him out.

I think Bucket shows have always been reasonably cheap.  With prices that are below $20?

At least that's how I remember it.

Re: New Bucket song, video

Ended up buying 2 tickets for 15 a piece. Should be good - the venue is within walking distance and I'm in about as suburban-sprawled a place as possible. Haven't seen a concert in Buffalo from as successful an artist in, like, 2 years.
