1.) Why isn't there any news?
a.) Because we as fans screwed it up due to all the bitching and moaning last year about set lists from people who never were even in attendance
b.) It's just a dead year - face it- 2005 all over again
c.) it's the calm before the "storm"
2.) What is the "storm"
a.) a reunion - minus Adler
b.) CD's release
c.) More silence
3.) Why did Axl hire Azoff?
a.) he liked his portfolio
b.) he had no choice - no one was actually knocking down doors to represent GNR
c.) he's the best man for the job
4.) Will Axl keep Azoff or make him hit the door like Merck?
a.) not likely, as Azoff is a close friend of Merck's so it's obvious Merck more than likely put in a good word to Azoff about Axl
b.) yes, he'll get the boot just before Axl has to do a reunion
c.) Azoff is the only man who can get GNR back on track
5.) Are you tired of hearing Baz preach about CD?
a.) yes, because he knows that every time he mentions Axl's name, it's free publicity for him and more people will probably read the interview
b.) no, Baz is genuine
c.) dcn't care either way
6.) Will Slash endorse Coke and Axl go with Dr. Pepper?
a.) not sure but why not
b.) no, that comment from Slash was tongue in cheek
c.) yes

1. Dead year, but a reunion could happen at any moment
2. A reunion that could possibly feature Adler.
3. Azoff can do the impossible
4. Azoff will get things moving if its even possible

i picked my own answers
1.) Why isn't there any news?
because there isnt anythign to talk about until they sort out the business matters...which may go on indefinately until one side gives
2.) What is the "storm"
an internet forum fabrication of the musical wold being rocked to its foundations when the album is released
3.) Why did Axl hire Azoff?
I think it was a gesture of good will that axl was willing to do things to help the negotiations move along...i think the quyestion should be, who suggested that Azoff manage GnR and what is the goal he was given.
4.) Will Axl keep Azoff or make him hit the door like Merck?
Depends on how the negotiations pan out for the album release and after that what Azoff tries to make axl do and how axl responds to the requests that are put forward
5.) Are you tired of hearing Baz preach about CD?
um yeah....its weird that someone not even in the band is doing all the talking

It's really surreal that a lot of us voted on another dead year.
Why is it that GNR can be so hyped up in 06, do USA shows, Europe shows, festivals, in 07 do Japan, Australia and now it's come to this?

That's what I can never understand. I get negotiations but there comes a point, especially with this album that it just has to come out and someone has to give. I can understand taking a year off of touring but with an album still looming over the horizon indenfinitely, the album should make it's way out in to the public this year, considering they toured 2 years prior. Is that too much to ask
