Re: 2025 Tour Dates
On the pro shot I thought Axl sounded great, but when it came time for Jungle, he did one of the best intro screams in awhile, and was running the stage like crazy. So by the time he got to the first verse he was winded. Again at the end he held that scream longer than I have heard in awhile. Then ran around and got lost in time.
But to me, I don’t care. I think his voice sounds good clean, and with good audio has lots of ‘soft rasp’ like in Love to Love. His energy on stage makes up for some of the lack of vocal performance at times, and he’s giving it 100%. Better than watching other famous acts hardly move and sing only slightly better. (Singing much easier songs too btw)

That's pretty crazy. I bet the first few minutes were uncomfortable to say the least. I wonder if they talked on the phone before meeting face to face?
It's too bad they couldn't have buried the hatchet years ago when a tour would've been amazing.
Lump me in with those who wouldn't mind GNR being a 5 piece band again.
I initially thought hiring Melissa was a smart move but they did nothing with her so she should just exit stage left now.

Enjoyed that, but yet again Axl’s vocals skipped half a bar in the outro of Jungle, making them totally out of sync and forcing the band to have to skip to the ending real quick, you can see Slash turn to Isaac, like “gotta end this now”, which they managed. I’m amazed how this can keep happening to them?
