I’ve read that the remaining living members of the Faces have recorded an album and will be released in 2026 sometime. First time since the 70s.
I bet that comes out before these 2 singles.
I'm definitely interested in that.
This is a real shitty band to be a fan of. I was looking forward to blaring these two songs tonight but of course...nada...zilch.
By the time it does come out, you barely even give a shit.
Oh well....I'll just go back to the Talking Heads.
No matter what 30 year old song they decide to release, it'll never be as good as this....
They also announced the indefinite delay on the official GNR X page. Said the infamous SOON
Per the official Twitter page..it was in the reply fir f'd sake.
"Apologies for the delay in the music release today. Due to unforeseen technical issues with our distribution partners, the tracks Nothin’ & Atlas are not available everywhere just yet. We’re working diligently to resolve this ASAP. The songs will be available everywhere very soon."
Don't post shit like this here. It's not even mildly amusing and the few people hanging in here aren't interested in trolling.
Either post normal or go to mygnr or the social media platform of your choice.

They really did follow through on releasing Nothing. 
Joking aside, this failure actually annoys me
more than any other.
At least when it was “Album coming next year in March 2007” or “There are 20 Tuesdays left in the year” or whatever, it wasn’t a firm set date. It was somewhat tentative, it was months away. It was understood that obviously they had some shit still to do between now and then…. then they just screwed that up.
This time they announced a set date with one week notice. If you weren’t ready to release today then surely you must have known a week ago that certain things weren’t done and that you wouldn’t have time to do them in one week. So why announce it then?
This is actually a bigger fail in some ways than any beforehand. If they aren’t ready today to release, then surely they knew that a week ago when they chose to announce that they would release today. No one made them do that or was honestly expecting it at this point.
This band has been such a fucking disappointment since I got into them almost 20 years ago.

This time they announced a set date with one week notice. If you weren’t ready to release today then surely you must have known a week ago that certain things weren’t done and that you wouldn’t have time to do them in one week. So why announce it then?
Because the organization is not only inept/incompetent, they're on record as detesting the hardcore base. We're the infamous "pond scum" unworthy of new music.
They can fuck something up (par for the course) and instead of any repercussions for the fuck up, they can sit back and get joy out of what they're doing.
They could even do this amateur hour shit on purpose.... because there's zero repercussions for doing so.
It's NOT a coincidence that every single thing that isn't the touring machine run by Live Nation is always bungled.

They absolutely knew a week ago. They didn't even bother to upload the always basic, generic artwork for the tracks. Why? Because they knew it wasn't coming out.
IF they believed it really was coming out today, that's even WORSE. It shows that whichever pea brained 6th cousin of a nanny in charge of uploading these tracks did it without bothering with the artwork.
Garage bands managed by their mothers aren't this clueless.

I’m a younger fan (appetite came out the month i was born). I remember watching November Rain on MTV a bunch but didn’t get into them until I could download songs on Napster/Kazaa in 2001/2002. It has been 24 years of largely nothing that wasn’t given to the base as a leak. I convinced myself in 2002 that Axl and gang would have a resurgence and I have rooted for him very hard, going to great lengths to defend against the vast majority of people who shit all over him. I have spent at least 20k going to concerts. What a fruitless effort.

But outside of that touring band they are basically dead, in terms of everything else . Fan interaction. Releasing any unreleased material and just giving a shit about their fanbase .
Megadeth is releasing their last album next year and I think they are including some cover from Ride the Lightning as coming full circle in his career. I haven’t really listened to anything outside of the 90s stuff. But he has my attention just on treating me as something more than revenue .
Which is what GNR treats their fanbase as. Once you realize this is what their game is you get less annoyed . If they don’t give a shit , why should you? Slash and Duff are complicit in this as well btw. They are happy to ride the reunion gravy train and rake in the profits and watch it burn.

This is one of those you had to be there things. I mean you can watch the YouTube clips but it’s not the same because the world was different and they were like 360 degrees different from this current mess.
For those younger fans: find musicians (old, young , dead , alive etc) that move you and releases material and interacts with the fan base.
I’m not saying stop listening or enjoying GNR but there are other musicians worthy of your time and energy that don’t treat you like pond scum.

Totally agree. Duff & Slash have lost credibility during these years without albums and new music since the reunion. They are there just for the money. Izzy is the only one with all the credibility. Just my opinión.
Look Aerosmith and Yungblud EP.... They are a good example. Axl doesn't care about music, just the money tours bring to him.

Perhaps the band shouild switch to whomever manages Slash or Duff. Those 2 put out new material without any glitches or "technical difficulties".
I wonder if they tweaked the names of the songs to cut out previous contributors from royalties.
