Re: Had a medical emergency last night
While posting(and chatting) last night, I was overcome with major chest pains, could NOT breathe, was nauseated, felt numb from my hands to my feet, and was about to faint. As most of you know, these are signs of an impending heart attack. People I was with rushed me to the hospital, where I stayed all fucking night. Had tubes up my nose, many tests done, etc. Even was crying before being led to my room telling my family who rushed to the hospital in the middle of the night and told them I probably wasn't getting out of there alive and that even through all the various bullshit over the years, I loved them all.
Shockingly, after the tests I was put through, found nothing wrong with my heart or lungs. Doctors said I must have had some major anxiety attack of some sort, which can exhibit symptoms of a heart attack. In my "talk with God" last night, I said if he got me through this crisis, I would quit smoking cigarettes. Now I have to stick to it.:haha: Smoked one cigarette about an hour ago to take the edge off, but I'm gonna have to buy some nicotine gum next time I go to the store.
So while all of you were enjoying the music throughout the night and hoping for more leaks, I was practically on my death bed.:nervous:
I have NEVER felt any pain like that in my life, and hope to never do so again. I am actually gonna go to a doctor on monday just to get a second opinion.

Funny you say that, because when my mom showed up at the hospital in the middle of the night, I told her what I was doing before the pain set in. She blamed it on the leaks(she knows I run a GNR site).
I told her if that was the cause, I need psychiatric help.:haha:
I have no idea what caused it. I did smoke weed while chatting last night, but NEVER felt like that before.
This is gonna be a sober week for me, just as a precaution. No weed, no pills, no shrooms. Nada.
Anyone have a straight jacket to loan?:laugh:

I think the 2nd opinion will concur though...as when you have heart trouble there are indicators in the blood that they would not miss..and its a known thing with an anxiety attack to mimic actual diseases.
However, it's actually a good thing that you had an anxiety attack as opposed to actually having a heart condition. And anxiety can be controlled with relaxation and breathing exercises and/or some counciling...so it should work out ok...but we're all thinking of you
