GTA: San Andreas - Welcome to the Jungle
Axl does the voice for the radio DJ Tommy "The Nightmare" Smith who is featured on the station K-DST. Welcome to the Jungle can be heard on another station called Radio X, but it's not on the official soundtrack.
Guitar Hero II - Sweet Child O' Mine (Cover)
Jordan by Buckethead is also featured in Guitar Hero II.
Guitar Hero III - Welcome to the Jungle
Also, Slash is a playable character/boss in the game. Velvet Revolver and Buckethead material is available as Downloadable Content.
Rock Band 2 - Shackler's Revenge
Re: guns n' video games
I'm glad I didn't buy GHII - didn't know it was a cover of the song.
I think they need to do a GH (or RB) GnR. they can use it to not only put all the classics on there, but it would be an acceptable format to release the re-recorded AFD and release selected songs from the new band to get people more interested in getting the album. I think this would work much better than putting a 90s song on RB2 as a standalone and expecting people to get into the new band. The general public will need to be eased into the new band for it to have any chance.

one of the songs is on vice city and one is on SA
isnt PC on Burnout 3 or something?
I don't think SCOM is on any GTA game, WTTJ is definitely on San Andreas but I think that's the only GNR song on any GTA.
PC was certainly used as the music on the adverts for Burnout 3, in fact I think the game's called Burnout 3: Paradise City. I don't know if it's on the game soundtrack for certain but I'm guessing it will be.

...or Buckethead Bucket was in the band when the game was released so most likely.
It may just be a coincidence to be honest. All of the other band members listed are old school, thought I would throw bucket up there for discussion though.
