This is straight from someone over at buckethead.tk. I'm not taking anything out, sorry for any "inside jokes."

______________

Ummm. GUESS WHAT I AM LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW!!!!!

That's right, bitches, I got me some Faxtion up in here! The publicist sent me a copy. Sweet. I will see what I can do about getting extras to giveaway here or at the very least perhaps uploading 1 track as a sample/promo exclusive to here (as long as you punks don't distribute it elsewhere).

Couple of things to say about this record...
Ummmm, IT FUCKING ROCKS!

I know why they say NIN & Audioslave, but I don't agree. Greg Hampton (who does most vocals) sounds like a studio mix of Weiland and Cornel.

Some tracks are funky... particularly the first one is the funkiest thing I've heard since Flashlight or Stomp...

Other tracks are full on hard rock and are the best I've heard since '¦ well'¦ a while.

Others are mixes of rock and turntables'¦ funky turntables'¦ funky rock'¦ it's all good. No, great. In fact, I'd say this is the best thing Buckethead has been a part of since C2B3.

CERTAINLY WAY BETTER than the shit he's cranked out the last couple years (yeah, I said it)'¦

This is a full-balls-out rock/funk CD.

Here's a curious note. Song writing credits are given to B. Carroll (and a few with D. Monti, he's an engineer on the album fyi). There are a TON of players on the album. The artwork is particularly sweet.

I didn't feel like taking the time to take a pic'¦ I'll talk to the publicist and see what I can get out of her'¦

Chuck D track just came on'¦ seriously kick ass.

BUY THJIS ALBUM WHEN IT COMES OUT

(Dollar, I think you will especially freak out over this)

I was planning on getting this, although I'd love a tune or two to preview it by. BH is always a risky purchase for me, but hopefully this is a good album that does more than show off the talent of its creators.

There are plans in the works to get a sample of this over at buckethead.tk. If a song goes up, I'll let y'all know.

The player didn't show up for me, sadly, but I'll check again later - and let me know if something leaks. I really want to like this group, everything I hear about them sounds interesting.
