Re: Review/preview of Science Faxtion
Lots of mixed reaction to this over at buckethead.tk. Some love, some hate it. I don't care much for the first song with Hampton, but Bootsy's is great.
This would never happen, of course, but imagine Axl singing over Bucket, Brain, and Bootsy on bass. That would rock out.
No one else has listened?

Re: Review/preview of Science Faxtion
After one listen to each track, they're both pretty good, but I really hope these aren't the best songs they have. I'm really hoping for one or two knock-out awesome tunes, and neither of these is that. Life Is In Deliver is a little better I think, but everything is subject to change after more listens (which I'll probably wait for a leak or release to give).

Re: Review/preview of Science Faxtion
Although this is just a review, it mentioned some things that sparked a thought in my head. In the Praxis/Buckethead world, while they have amazing funk sections, amazing metal sections, and all sorts of stuff, they never combine it all into one. It's like it's decided which direction to go in, and they stay there until the next track, or make a shift so drastic that they might as well have moved to the next track.
I'd love to hear a song that has tangible structure and combines their best funk, their best hip hop, and their best rocking. Ont he GNR front, Riad does really well balancing metal with weird shit and some funk even.

Alright, we'll I don't want to buy it digitally if I can get a physical disc later. The previews sound pretty good, but you can't tell a ton from 30 seconds.
