Re: Scott Weiland: "Too Many Big Egos" Caused Velvet Revolver Split
Oh I think everyone in old GNR is difficult in their own way...but i think the problem in VR was basicly that scott started acting like Axl used to....going on stage late...missing shows.....if they were going to put up with that, why not mend the fence with Axl and do it all in a much more sucessful outfit?

Re: Scott Weiland: "Too Many Big Egos" Caused Velvet Revolver Split
I don't mean to drag Axl into all of this, but I think the failure of Velvet Revolver to stay together exonerates him a little. It just shows that maybe duff n' slash have strong opinions themselves, although I guess if you put drugs into the equation it's anybody's guess who was at fault.
That's the ironic thing. Duff and Slash were the drunks/druggies back in the day, which at least partially caused a rift between Axl (who was clean at the time) and them. Now they probably see his point of view on the matter, given that within Velvet Revolver they were the clean ones and their singer was a druggie.
