That's because Bob Clark had stopped feeding him ideas.

Bob Clark (God rest his soul) is full of crap.

He gave the idea for Halloween to John Carpenter.... roll

At the very least, Carpenter ripped off a lot of his direction. I just got the Blu-ray and am gonna give Black Christmas a spin tomorrow.

Last one for me was Final Exam.

I would have to make an educated guess that Black Ice would sell as well worldwide as GNR's new album. AC/DC is pretty damn international.

Too Fast for Love is basically a punk album.

Terrible, thoughts are prayers out to you and the family.

Contraband didn't hammer Chinese Democracy out of the park, but let's be real. 5 years ago (or 5 weeks ago), even if you knew the economic crisis was coming, would anyone have actually put $50 on Velvet Revolver's first album selling more than Axl's comeback in first week sales? I know there's no way in hell I'd have touched that bet.

I pondered him "retiring" because Prostitute sums up a lot of shit and he does say "up and away is what I've got to do".

I bought my album at Wal-mart in Canada, you guys sure they still censor CDs? I knew a guy who worked at Wal-mart in the States and he says they don't censor anything anymore.

The same bullshit happened back when I was into video games. Xbox was on top and everyone praised their sales, the Wii came out and trounced it and then it was all about quality, sales didn't mean shit.

Few things irritate me more than this type of behavior. And, I'm sure someone will reply saying all I worry about is sales insinuating that's what I and others who have spoken out do, but there's no need because we both know that's not the case. Anti-Slashers don't need to put false beliefs on our heads because they can't admit there is a major problem.
